This is an important announcement from SiTE Domain Registration Center!

As a user of SiTE Domain, you should know that we have been providing the FREE domain redirection service to the market for more than 5 years. To start with, such free service was made available to individual and corporate users who failed to secure an appropriate name, for some reasons, which could be more representative and make better sense of.

We were so happy to be of help to the Internet users. However, the accumulating cases of abuse use such as pointing to child pornographic content page and the likes has forced us to suspend the SiTE Domain service by expensive administrative cost.

We understand that the service suspension has caused much trouble to the discipline users like you. After consulting our legal advisor, we decided to resume the SiTE Domain service with a minimal charge to take care of our web re-programming cost and daily administrative fees.

There are two service options.

Current users are entitled to a discount of HK$200 for the first year's subscription of Service Option 1, provided that we received the paid subscription order on or before 28 February 2006. Then, any unsubscribed SiTE Domains will be open for public subscription.

SiTE Domain的免費轉址服務自推出後已經累計有半個世紀了，推出本免費服務的最初原因是：給沒有成功拿到真正能夠代表個人或者企業網站內容或者用途的常規功能變數名稱的個人或者企業提供簡單而且免費的解決方案。我們一直抱著這份開朗的熱情服務互聯網人群，可惜期間出現不少的非法使用個案：例如把所註冊的SiTE Domain轉址指向兒童色情網站，在高昂的行政費的壓力下，本中心最終只好全面停止這項便利人群的服務。

本中心深知停止了SiTE Domain轉址服務已經影響到大部分的守法用戶，造成諸多不便。本中心經諮詢過法律顧問後，確定恢復這項服務。唯一要求是希望各位真正用戶可以使用以下收費服務，支援本中心在重新編寫網站程式和日常行政的開支和費用，謝謝！

兩項收費服務包括：

1． HK$600一年的300MB SiTE Domain 網站寄存服務 – 包括300MB虛擬寄存空間、1個以hk.st, cn.st, tw.st & sg.st 域名、轉址服務和1個POP3電子郵件收信箱。
2． HK$300一年的SiTE Domain轉址服務 - 包括1個以hk.st, cn.st, tw.st & sg.st 為尾碼的域名、轉址服務。

感謝現有用戶的支援，從現在起到2006年2月28日期間（必須在這期間完成付款手續）可以享受優先重新登記使用第一項收費網站寄存服務的現有用戶，首年可獲HK$200的服務費折扣。從2006年3月1日開始，所有沒經註冊的以hk.st, cn.st, tw.st & sg.st 為尾碼的域名將開放給公眾申請使用。
